After setting up your email box in your account Control Panel, simply follow the instructions listed below to set up your iOS device email box. We recommend making a backup of your email as a safeguard before adding or editing email account information on your computer.
- Tap the Settings icon on your iOS device which is usually found on the main screen of your device and a menu listing will pop up on your device.
- Navigate to the option that says “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and tap on it.
- Locate the “Add Account” option in “The Mail, Contacts, Calendar” window that appears on your device. Tap on the “Add Account” option to enter its menu screen.
- In the “Add Account” menu screen, tap on the “Other” option and find and tap on the “Add Mail Account” option.
- Your device will redirect you to the “New Account” interface screen where it will ask you to enter the following information.
- Name – the name that you want to use to identify your email account.
- Email – the Email address of your Email account.
- Password – the password for your Email account.
- Description – the text to describe the Email setting that you are creating.
- After entering the required information on the fields provided, tap on the “Next” button to continue and another screen will appear asking you to select the type of mailbox for your Email account. Note: Select IMAP or POP3 . If you don’t know what IMAP is, we then recommend POP3.
- Confirm the information that you have entered and then tap on the “Next” button to continue with the setup.
- Enter your incoming mail server (POP) details in the field provided.
- Enter the following information required on the screen that will appear.
- Host Name- your Email account domain.
- User Name- the Email address that you wish to link to your device.
- Password – the password for your Email account that you have entered.
- Tap the “Next” button to continue.
- Tap the “Notes” toggle on the screen to disable it.
- Tap on the “Save” option to finish the cPanel Email account setup on your iOS device.
